School tour - Experimentarium

Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS - the original exhibition of real human bodies.

On 11 January 2011, nothing less than a phenomenon will be presented at Experimentarium in Copenhagen. More than 30 million people, from all over the world, have been amazed and fascinated by the human body, in the unique BODY WORLDS exhibition. By turning the human body ‘inside out’ the exhibition allows an indescribable insight into our selves.

Not two hearts are the same
The exhibition focuses on the heart and human body and it gives direct access to the fantastic design of the human body. The richness in detail, from the smallest muscle, sinew or blood vessel of the human body, is preserved through a specialised plastination technique.
The plastinated human body and organs – also referred to as Plastinates – depict precisely what we look like on the inside. Each human body is unique! Even Dr. Gunther von Hagens, the creator of BODY WORLDS, has explained that in all his years of working with anatomy, he has never seen two human hearts that looked the same.

The exhibition has been presented all over the world, and has been seen by more than 30 million people. It has therefore become the most successful touring exhibition in the world.

Awesome!!!!
