Food ohhhhh food!

Random pics of some of the food that i cooked for the past few weeks. Bukan lah masak dalam satu hari kan..hehehe. Tak larat oiii!

Too many pics actually so i randomly picked. As an amateur in cooking and baking, i think i'm doing pretty well so far. Being far away from family has made me an independent person. I have always enjoyed cooking, baking and of couse eating! LOL.

Mini doughnuts with raspberry jam.  I made this for our breakfast today. With a cup of coffee ohlallalaa..heaven! Recipe by the fabulous baker brothers. Very easy to make..it's ready in no time!

Crabs in spicy coconut milk (ketam masak lemak cili api).  I used frozen crabs..jadi lah kan. Crab is not my fav seafood but i can do with it once in a while. But it's a must to eat chilli crab whenever i'm back in SG.

Rice with dried cuttlefish sambal and dalca.  Made this for break-fast 2 weeks ago. :p

Creamy corn pudding. I made this to bring to a friend house...hmmmm last month kalau tak salah. haha

Ikan tiga rasa. Sesekali makan dengan nasi panas2..fuhyoooo...lazat! (masuk bakul angkat sendiri nampakkkkk)

My kids fav..lasagna served with salad and garlic bread.

Kuih lapis nyonya mariiii...lembut goyang2..makan selapis selapis..my fav!  Recipe by chef Saripah..aka mama ku! (",)

Grilled Stingray in special sauce...apa yang special? special sebab the sambal main campak2 je.hahhaa..and the other special thing is..jeng jeng jeng. First time we managed to find stingray in Copenhagen. Yes first time!..amazing. Alhamdulillah.

´Mini celebration in school

The mini celebration in school was held a day after his actual birthday. There were 2 birthday boys on that day, namely Elias and Danish. Elias's parents brought chocolate birthday cake whereas we brought flødeboller and goodie bags for the kids. It was indeed a joyous celebration for them. (",)

Danish distributing the flødeboller to his classmates.

Singing the birthday song.

Eating and drinking together.

His super adorable birthday gift from his classmates.

To my dear son,
Of all the things we own, we love you & adik the most. You have always made us proud, and we hope you always continue to do so. May Allah bless you with his love, warmth and courage. We are glad to have a son like you.

My son 4th birthday celebration

I can still remember the moment when i took you in my arms for the very first time. Every year your birthday reminds of this beautiful moment. Happy 4th birthday my dear son. We love you very much!

We had a small birthday celebration for him at home and attended by few close friends. As per last year, my good friend, Sherry was kind enough to sponsor the birthday cake.  Danish chose to have Lightning Mcqueen car for his cake.

Farewell party

We attended a farewell party at Aya's place yesterday. Another dear friend is leaving Copenhagen for good. Adila and family will be moving to Doha soon.  sob sob sob..

A potluck party, so we each brought some food. I brought honey baked wings and agar2 gundil.

Honey baked wings, marinated with honey, oyster sauce, soya sauce, paprika and sesame oil. Senang kan..kalau nak cuba silakan..

Group photo. Forget us not Adila and hope you like the present!

Quoted by Richard Bach - Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.

Renungkan

Salam
Nothing much to update today. Just got home from attending a friend's farewell get together.  Another friend will be leaving Copenhagen soon. Sob sob sob.

I will try to update this blog tomorrow with some piccies. Insyallah. So as for now..jom renungkan kata2 ini.

"Jika kamu sudah berazam akan sesuatu, maka bertawakkallah kepada Allah. kerana taqdir Allah berada di hujung usaha manusia. Kita tidak akan memiliki sesuatu itu jika bukan dengan izin-Nya".

Selamat malam semua.
