Our little gem

Salam everyone.  We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful baby girl. Our little bundle of joy was born on 4/4/14 in Rigshospitalet. Both mum and baby are doing well.

Alhamdulillah. All praises to Allah. My prayers have been answered to have a safe, fast and smooth delivery. Thank you all for the warm wishes.

Here's a short write up on my pregnancy which i would like to share.  I was among those who had nausea and vomiting until the end of pregnancy.  Yes..you read it correctly. In fact i vomited 3 times a day before i gave him.  I understand now the feeling one had to go through.  It was indeed very unpleasant and interfered with my daily routine.  The worst part was i felt nausea at any time of the day or night and it took over my life.  I felt lethargic most of the time and found it difficult to care for my two older children, cook, shop or do everyday chores.  To think that i should be feeling happy and excited about my pregnancy and not miserable and ill.  However I had to stay strong for my family.

I read few articles on how to relieve the symptoms and i had tried most of them but unsuccessful. huhuhu.  At times i felt that nobody really understands what i was going through but talking to a fellow sufferer did ease the pain.  So for those who might think feeling nausea and vomiting through out your pregnancy is ridiculous, just wait till you have experience it.  Till then, just leave your comment to yourself.  Thank you.

Whatever it is, I must thank Allah for the experience.  Every experience has taught me to be a stronger person. Alhamdulillah.
